The Priestess of Ibeti
On the planet of Sarsaine, you're only as good as what you produce. Sayazé Odais is a poor but accomplished woodworker and a devout follower of the god Ibeti. She crafts exquisite jewelry, sculptures, and furniture from the wood of Ibeti's forest. Sayazé quickly learns that skill alone is not enough to make a name for yourself on Sarsaine. She must marry if she is to achieve the rank of master woodcarver and gain the recognition she deserves. But to do this, Sayazé must make a choice: endanger her relationship with her girlfriend Jutra, or compromise her beliefs to satisfy a system that favors the elite.
